The annual general meeting (AGM) of Qatar Chamber could not take place on Wednesday due of lack of quorum. According to an announcement made by the chamber, the AGM has been postponed to May 19 as representatives of only 66 companies reported for the meeting.
It requires the participation of at least 18.000 companies out of 36.000 companies registered with the chamber to fulfill the legal quorum for holding an AGM.
The chamber has urged all the registered companies to participate in AGM on May 19, Which will begin at 12 noon.
