Qatar Chamber urged all companies to quickly fill online questionnaire aiming to assess the damages caused by the siege imposed on Qatar before next Thursday (August 17) which is the deadline for submitting the required data and documentation for the losses and damages resulted from the siege.
The Chamber said it is making estimation to damages caused to Qatari companies since the beginning of the siege, to present before the Compensation Claims Committee.
Saif bin Youssef Al Kuwari, Head of Committees & Business Councils Department at the chamber said QC has placed the questionnaire in the Chamber website in order to have accurate information about the damages caused by the siege.
This will concerned bodies to avoid exclusion of requests and all are required for upload the necessary documents he added.
He said that every company affected must fill out the questionnaire for each of its business activities. He added that the damages mentioned should be the actual one and not the expected losses.
On the next steps, Al Kuwari said that the chamber will then present the files to the Compensation Claims Committee, in order to facilitate the work of legal experts and those working on sorting the applications.
